Been Thinkin' of Late, yup, yup, even me had a thought.

It's been a while since I thought about this poor orphaned book. I had given up. November wore me out. The winter has been a health trainwreck for me and too many people I love. My brain cannot cope with such detail and complexity anymore. My mind cannot encompass changes in my own world, much less make up a brand-spankin' new universe at the same time.

But, but . . . suddenly it's looking interesting again.

Can't explain it. Hate to drop a project? Could be. There's something there worth saying? Possibly. Plain old stubborn? Probably. Depressed at the thought of abandoning yet another novel? No doubt. Want to play with my giant whiteboard, huge sketchbook and maybe some cool software? Absolutely. Still enjoying my writing-music discovery of last November, The Ahn Trio's lovely "Music for my Favorite Insomniac"? That could have something to do with it.

Don't place your bets yet, but at least I'm driving toward the stables.
